Singapore Reinsurers' Association (SRA) has announced that its membership base has grown by three.
The three new members, which are associate members, are Lexasure Financial Group, OCBC, and Richmond Reinsurance Brokers.
SRA, addressing the new members on its LinkedIn account, said, “Your engagement, support, and partnership are essential to our shared mission, and we look forward to collaborating with you in advancing our objectives".
Lexasure Financial Group, an InsurTech, describes itself as a Southeast and South Asia reinsurance company providing reinsurance and digital insurance solutions, including Reinsurance-as-a-Service (RaaS).
OCBC is the longest-established Singapore bank, formed in 1932 from the merger of three local banks. It is the second-largest financial services group in Southeast Asia by assets.
Richmond Reinsurance Brokers is incorporated in Singapore and engages in general reinsurance. Its CEO is Mr Sung-Kook Cho who has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry.
SRA has around 60 members, comprising ordinary, associate, affiliate and honorary members.
The association organises the Singapore International Reinsurance Conference, which this year falls on 4-7 November. With the theme “Revolutionise (Re)insurance!”, this year’s conference will focus on critical conversations across climate change, the power of artificial intelligence for the sector and its changing talent landscape, as well as the importance of navigating these forces to drive transformative changes across the industry.
